I see I can put a future due date on an invoice, which would allow me to take orders from customers that will pick up on a future date. I am a food business and need a way to export the items due for that day in the future, so we can make sure we have the product and give the various departments (catering from the kitchen, deli, butcher) a list of what they need to make for that day. Orders with items sold by weight (deli/butcher area) will not be paid in advance, but kitchen items could be.
Is the software capable of this or is there an app/integration/work-around to get this information? Would like to hear how others in my position are handling this. Thank you in advance.
Hello and welcome @Milemarker000!
If I'm understanding correctly, you want to print out a report of items included in an invoice where the invoice due date is in the future? If that's what you're looking to do, unfortunately that's a feature request right now. The only way you're able to export the items on those invoices is if they've been paid for.
If the invoice hasn't yet been paid, you'd need to manually keep track of the items that are included on the invoice and give your different departments those numbers that you're tracking.
I can pass this along as a feature request to our Product team for now. But please let us know if any other questions come up!
