In 2015 I was able to use the square register app on my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. Now not compatable?

I have had the square register app on the Ace 2 phone and it was working last year.  a few months ago I had to re-format the phone and now that I'm trying to download the app again, it's saying that the phone is not compoatable.  Am I doing something wrong or have they dropped the Ace 2?  Anyone else with similar problem?

Taking a look at our compatibility page, we haven't had a chance to test this device out yet. Would you mind sharing what version of Android software your device is running? Also, would you mind sharing the exact error message you're seeing? Maybe I can offer a bit more guidance with these details. Thanks!
