Import Question [disabling "default" variation]

Hello all - when I import items to my inventory library, new items are automatically entered with a variation named "default" and I have to go in and manually delete this variation. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Welcome back to the Community, @GP82818

Could you give me some more information on how you're importing your inventory in the ItemLibrary?

This will give me a better idea on where the "default variation" issue is coming up.

I will keep an eye out for your reply👀

I import them through a third party called Faire it’s a wholesale site that has integrations.

@GP82818

Ah okay. It sounds like it could be a result of this integration. Have you checked with Faire to see if it is a setting on their end?

Would it be possible to import the inventory on an Excel sheet in your Dashboard?

The same exact thing happens when using the woocommerce-square integration app.

Hey there, @BofBArtStudio & @GP82818

Integrations through third party applications aren't perfect, so usually I would suggest to start with the partner.

That way any potential issues can be ruled out on their end. Next you can circle back with us. Your best option for integration through importing an Excel sheet into your Item Library

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
