Hi, I'm currently using another loyalty program at my cafe. I'm wondering if I can import or export my customer database and their current loyalty points into the Square loyalty porgram system or vice versa in the future?
Also, when customers visit the store can they simply enter thier phone number to participate in the loyalty program or do they need to make a purchase in order to sign in or enroll?

To answer your second question, with Square Loyalty your customers enroll in your Loyalty program by entering their phone number at the end of a sale. Or outside of a sale you can enroll a customer from the Customers section of app or from your online Dashboard.

Hi again! It's currently not possible to export a CSV file with your Loyalty Data. You can view the information from the Loyalty section of your online Square Dashboard, and this thread explains how to view Loyalty data from the Customer Directory section as well.

Is this loyalty data export function anywhere in your roadmap at all? if yes, whats the eta?
I'm in the process of looking for a POS with a descent loyalty program, this right now is the only things holding me back from using Square. As I'm very senstive about the rights to my customer loyalty data and do not like the feeling of having my data been held hostage should I decided to change loyalty platform.

I called the CS team this morning and spoke with someone in the loyalty department. I am wanting to do the same thing as the original poster, import points balance from a different loyalty program into Square so we can switch to Square loyalty. However, I was told by the Square employee that there is no way to import customers' points balance, that it would have to be entered manually. They also stated they were unable to help manually enter the information.
Can you help connect me with someone who can help with the importing?

We'd like to stop offering the Square Loyalty Program, but can't seem to find a report or export list with all customer loyalty balances to "pay them out" before closing the feature.

Unfortunately there's not a way to export the customer Loyalty info. But you can check out Helen's answer here where she explains how you can view that info through the Customer Directory.
