Need a little more information. Is this tablet supported by square app? If it is try to remove app and download it again. Also update your new tablet to the most recent update available for your device. Again exactly what is not being read? Is it credit cards or contactless reader not linking using Bluetooth feature. Can you enter credit card information manually? If you can only enter manually consider returning that device ASAP and get a device that is supported by square.
