I have a new Samsung S-7 Phone and my square plus chip cards will not down load the square app so it

My new Samsung S-7 phone will not connect with the square app or will it work ..I have the new square plus chip card with the charge cord and yes it is charged ...I have uninstalled the square app and then reinstalled it and still no results... Does anyone have any ideas...Jonathan

To get going, would you mind confirming if you have the Square Chip Card Reader or the Square Contactless + Chip Card Reader? Have you already had a chance to check device compatibility? It's possible that this reader may not work with your specific phone model.
