I would like to offer my clients a choice when they hit the home page [kind of like webiste 1 and website 2]. both of my businesses require square processing and different features that I already pay for in my package.
So this is what I would like to do-end user comes to abc.com. End user sees the following:
Hi where would you like to go? Widgets 1 or Widgets 2. Mind you-i've already got widgets 1 up and running. Widgets 2 is a completely different type of business and I have no infrastructure setup yet for this.
Is this possible? I really do NOT want to recreate the wheel for another domain and new website etc..thank you.
Thank you
HI, you can have Widget 1 direct to Widget 2. Two different types of business within one is not an available feature. Yes, 2 different websites.
Hello @6DGems thanks for your post. Do you require two SEPARATE Square accounts to process payments separately? Or can you use your same Square account to process payments for both of these "websites"? If you require two separate sites/accounts, you'd have to just add a hyperlink to one of your Widgets on your homepage, and that hyperlink would open a whole new website that would be managed by a separate Square account.
IF you are able to process and use one single Square account for both of these widgets, you can just separate your widgets by different web pages or parts of your Square web site. If you look at my website as an example, I have three different segments I market to...my Etsy site (which links to my offsite Etsy store), my wholesale site (which are just separate web pages within my Square website), and my retail store, (which are different web pages within my Square website). These "links" are just images/links setup on my Square site homepage, with hyperlinks directing to those pages. So it appears there are three different sites, although just one offsite link, and two links to pages on my Square site.
I hope this might help offer a solution to your issue. Thanks for being a member of the Square Seller Community!
Charlie this is perfect, I do not require multiple processing square accounts. Now that I know it can be done I just have to figure out how to do it on the square end because the website is hosted through weebly. Thank you for your response!
