Hi, Square!
I created an app that collects application fees each time a merchant's customer places an online order. I collect X amount of cents per transaction so I expect to see that much increment when I go to my dashboards/Balance...
The Issue: Before I received my square business debit card in the mail and activated it through the square admin dashboard, I was able to see my fees collected by going to Balance. However, as I'm monitoring online payments being made, I'm not seeing my balance updating.
Keep in mind that I'm jumping to conclusions because this was the last thing I modified before I stopped receiving application fees and seeing them update, in the balance page.
Could you help me narrow down the root cause? Maybe I'm just missing something trivial...
Tech Notes: I'm using Square API version: 2020-05-28 and I collect app fees using the Square NuGet package for .NET Core 3.1 version 5.3.0.
@Helen think you can help me out again?! You helped me out so much with my last question. Thanks! 😁
The Square API shows
PAYMENTS API AND REFUNDS API
but in my dash board I dont see the same buttons or optionsSquare Seller Dashboard
Hi @Knowtifyd! Thanks for sharing the details on what's going on. I just ran this by our API team and am waiting on a reply. Once we hear back from them, I'll get back to you!
Hello,
I notice that this issue was raised in March 2020. I am having the same issue in 2022. Has there been an update? How can I see the application fees?
Hey there @LongVisioner
I recommend asking this question on our developer forums. I am sure that this will be better answered there.
