I charged the incorrect amount. Can I void or cancel the transaction?
You can.
Go into Square Home Screen hit transactions on left hand side menu. From there find your transaction- click on it... and then you're going to click the 3 dots in the right hand corner- from there you can refund as an option in the drop-down menu.
You can also Press Transactions at the bottom of your POS.
Then find the Transaction press that Transaction.
Then select Return or Exchange
The choose Item(s) or Dollar amount
and follow the prompts as to Why you are issuing the Refund etc.
This is best when you notice it right away and to avoid going to your Computer to log into Squares Back office Dashboard.
