I have recently lost sales because I believe they do not know or understand the square invoices. I am trying to figure out the best way to explain it to them so they will feel more secure in using the service.
I often times will e-mail them a link to the invoice and use language to the effect that they can 'download/view/pay' their invoice using that link. We often have people pay their invoices via check...but highlighting the availability of the option to pay online often spurs them to do so.
