How to stop text from coming up when using the square app on an iPhone

I recieve many texts a day, and will be processing a customer then a text will pop up even when they are signing.

At this time, the Register app is not able to prevent text messages from popping up while in use. I'll be sharing your experience with our product liaison team, who tracks seller feedback and makes product improvements.
