Here is the deal: I am selling souvenirs and have many tour guides (who I do not employ) sending their tourists to my souvenir store. In order to motivate them to encourage their guests to buy more I would like to provide a commission to them, let's say 10% of the sales made goes to the tour guide who brought the group. Normally the tourists all pay in a row at the same time, so ideally after 50 tourists paid, I'd like to see how much money was made from customer no1 to customer no50 so that all i have to do is take off the 10% commission that I would pay the tour guide on the spot. Since I don't have much time (they normally only stay for 20min in which I'd be busy with handling the cashier) I am looking for an efficient method to get that overall number. Any thoughts?
Hello!
The first work around that comes to mind would be to create an employee passcode for each of your Tour Guides.
Once they are finished with the tour, and the customers come into the souvenir shop, whoever is working the register would enter in the Tour Guides Employee Passcode for the sales.
This would allow each of those sales to be tied to that specific Employee or Tour Guide in your Square Dashboard reports.
