How to match inventory on dashboard to Square website?

So I put my items with prices and inventory quantities and everything on my dashboard > items but these items either don't show up on my website or show up with incorrect inventory levels.  The website is set to automatically add new items to the site and the item will often show up but with incorrect inventory. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

HI, there is a known sync issue when adding items on your Square Dashboard.  When you add items on your Online Dashboard the items are immediately on your website.

Oh, okay! Thank you! So, when I add the items through the Online Dashboard they will show up with the same inventory on my in person POS system?
