I'm using the new online store, which allows me to offer physical gift cards. It doesn't offer a way to associate the actual physical gift card with the transaction. The only way I've come up with to handle that is to do a refund to gift card, which doesn't seem right.
I don't want to offer the egift cards. We're a brewery that's doing to-go orders only during the COVID-19 shutdown and the only way we're processing orders is through ordering online. I would like the option to for customers to add a gift card, but the way Square deals with it is super clunky.
Thanks!

Whenever you sell a gift card to a customer, it gives a 16 digit card number (similar to a credit card). This Support Article gives you some helpful tips on all aspects of using physical gift cards.
Once the customer wants to redeem the gift card, you're able to swipe or enter that number for the payment.
This didn't seem to get answered properly. Did you ever find a way around this? We are running into the same issue. We end up using the company credit card to essentially buy the card again when we go to issue the physical card. I'm hoping there is an easier way to do this.
Hey there, @CTossers -
So sorry for the confusion. Could you give me some more information on what you're trying to accomplish?
Do you want your customers to purchase the physical gift cards through your Online Store and be able to use them with your Online Store?
I want to make sure we are on the same page.
I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.
