How to Manage Tickets with New Appointments App

Ticket management seems to be crippled under the flow of the new app. We are no longer able to save or merge tickets when the items/services are being sent from the Appointments calendar.

Since the new Appointments app has it's own dedicated check-out section, some features that can be used in the Point of Sale app might not be available in the Appointments app. 

 

Open Tickets was designed for restaurant style businesses, and the thought process here was that a calendar booking would serve as a similar solution for an open ticket (e.g. a calendar booked appointment reflects the service that hasn't been performed/paid for yet). 

 

I don't have any information around whether or not this is something we're going to add in to the Appointments app. 

 

The Point of Sale app might make more sense to use for checkout if your business model fits that check out flow a bit better.
