After some research in these boards, I have come to realize there is not "monthly statement" generated for your account. I started using my Square debit card at the end of last year. I have been trying to reconcile the transactions in quickbooks but I cannot find all of my card spend, balance transfers and sales all together in one place to print out. When I go to [ Balance > Activity > All ] not all transactions are there. For example, I select "all last year" only a few transactions from December show. It tells me: "To view prior activity, go to the Card Spend and Transfers tabs." Furthermore, it does not give me an option to export the information it will show on this screen. Instead, I have to export the card spend and transfers separately. I then have to compare these two reports to my activity reports printed from the main activity tab. I am piecing together three reports to make my own "statement." Is there an easier way to do this? I have been very deterred from using my card due to these accounting issues I am having.
Also, I am not able to export from the card spend tab. The transfer tab will export to an excel file but the card spend tab will download as an unknown file. I did check to ensure my version of Chrome is up to date. I was able to export the card spend tab as a text file from an Explorer browser. But I would like this in excel. I will attach a picture of the download error.
