Hey there! Not sure I totally understand your question, so please bear with me. 🙂
In order to start taking payments with Square, you do need to go through the initial verification process, which asks a few questions about your business. Once it's complete, and you've linked up your bank account, taking a payment is simple:
- Open up the Square app on your supported mobile device, and make sure you're logged in
- Connect the Square Reader to your device. Depending on your reader you'll either plug it into the headphone jack, or pair it with bluetooth on your device
- Enter the sale into the Square app. You can do this manually, or by creating items, and ringing up the individual items
- Press "Charge," and then you can swipe, dip, or tap to accept the payment.
