How do you get the customer information on the sales reports we get?

How do you get the customer information on the sales reports we get? We need to know who gave what for tax donation purposes. If I go into the dashboard, transactions and click on each date and each transaction, I can see the name from the charge card. I have the names entered as customers but I have not been able to choose the name when creating the transaction. I need to know who is paying for what. Thank you. Wanda

I need this information as well as the customer's postal or zip code, for tax purposes, and it is NOWHERE to be found even in individual sales records. How do I get this information? And has nobody from Square helped Wanda yet?

Hello @WandaMI and @mswcreations, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Depending on where you added the additional information, you will be able to access customer details from your Directory tab or by exporting the Transactions CSV. If you added a note, you'll be able to see it by viewing the "Note" column.

 

While we are able to capture the customer's name automatically with card sales, any additional details (e.g. address information) will have to be added manually during the time of the sale.
