I'm using Square for Retail and setting up codes for each employee. I have employee management turned on and my employees are set up with individual codes. I can see how one employee can clock in and out using our iPad -- but if more than one person is working -- how do they clock in and out? How do I set it up so that each sale is attributed to the employee ringing it up? I've scoured the help pages and haven't found anything about multiple employees (so it's probably so easy that everyone else figured it out just fine!).
This is exactly what I am looking for. Does anyone know how to do this?
I use one POS system for my store. It was suggested to me to log into the POS using the store's email rather than my email as business owner. This limits the access to information on the POS for the employees. (If I was logged on as me, they will have access to change more information than I am comfortable with.). With that said, now only the "store" can clock in. I already have Square Payroll so the tracking of the hours is super important. I am unwilling to add the Team Management for $35 per location, that is just not an option with 3 seasonal locations and since I already pay for Payroll employee access to log in should be included.

I want to make sure I'm understanding exactly what you're looking for.
Are you trying to set it up so employees can clock in/out but not set up permissions? Have you considered using the Payroll app for employees to clock in/out, and then just limiting the security on the app and requiring passcodes while logged into the POS?

Yes, I am. I hire teenagers mostly. One of which has very limited data/ability to add apps etc. At this time she is unable to add the Payroll App to her phone.
Hmmm. If they can't download the app on their phone, and you don't want to upgrade to Team Management, I'm not sure what the workaround would be.
