Im not sure if I am making sense but I want to setup my online store so customers can see what I offer. With me being a bakery I may have certain dates that are unavailable for orders or certain things take more than a day to create. How do I set it so that the order can be submitted online for my review but not accept payment. (I dont want someone ordering a custom cake for the next day when it would probably take longer). Once reviewed, I can approve it and follow up with the customer about payment.

I reached out to our Weebly team and they confirmed this isn't something we offer at this time.
You could set all the item prices to zero and invoice the customers separately through Square after the fact but that's a lot of extra work to do.
They're aware of the request for this now so hopefully this will be something to come in future improvements!

Has there been any updates on this feature? I have the same issue selling meat. I raise and sell chicken, whole & cuts but don't inventory the individual weights. I would like to have people submit their orders online for pick-up and delivery but not receive payment until I invoice them.
We sell our product by the pound, and not every package is the exact same weight. When we receive an online order, we have to make an adjustment (refund or additional charge) when the customer comes to pickup their order.
Is it possible to approve an online order, so that we can make the adjustments prior to the customer picking up their order? Once the online order is approved by us, then the customer's credit card would be charged for revised amount.

I moved your post to an existing thread for this feature request where another seller @Melsdesserts asked the same question.
This will be the thread where it's tracked but this isn't something we offer at this time still.
Any updates on this issue? We sell beef and would also like this feature. It could be processed as an estimated cost and then refunded to customer. Or, it could take a deposit and then process the rest after packing.
Ideally though, it would work as this thread suggests- take the order, allow us to pack it, put in the weights, and then receive payment.

At this time, the ability to review online orders before accepting payment is a feature request. Although this feature isn’t currently available with Square, it’s a great idea and I can see how it would be beneficial to your business.

We can sell by the pound in person using square POS but not online. Even though we are able to list items as "sold by the pound" customers are only charged for the quantity they select- 1,2,3 etc. basically selling per the item not the weight.
