How do I set up discount codes?

Okay, I just cannot find where it explains and shows how to use discounts.

Hi Alex - I'd like to set up "promo" or "discount" codes that happen at checkout on our online store.  How/where do I do that?  Not finding it...

Got it. Did you create your online store through Square or through a third party developer?

I found where to do it (had to consult The Google!). 

Any way to test that my discount code actually works?

Or I guess I could try to make a purchase but just not complete it with CC.
