How do I set up a 'pay what you want' donation item?

I want to set up a pay what you want option for one particular item. It's basically a donation - I want to have a list of price options that people can choose from. 

How do I set this up on the backend?

Clarification question - do you want to do this on a website or when you are checking out your customers?

During the check out process you can add an Item with a Variable Price, for your customers to choose their donation.

If you are setting this up online- you'll want to look into creating Square Online Store (Weebly) and setting up variable donations.

This would be through our online store. We have other items for sale, and we would like this to appear on the same page as an item "donate to the fund".

Just wondering if this worked out for you my friend?    I'm moving into this direction as well and wanted to see if this worked for you because I am trying to keep everything on Square itself?

We are also working on developing a pay what you can / fair exchange cafe...ideally, we could have the option for folks to order online and select a price for each item on the menu (or at least a subset of items). Is there a way to accomplish this using square? Perhaps using some combination of coupons / discounts and add-ons / modifiers?
