I am trying to get a report on android devices from 2 locations, but they are being lumped together.
Hey @hapa — thanks for surfacing. You can do this with Android and iOS devices, but first you'll need to set a name for them.
To set a device name from an Android device:
Repeat steps 1-3 on your other device/devices.
The steps to set up a device name on an iOS device are in our Support Center. If you have an iPad you can also track devices with device codes.
After you've assigned a name to each device, it will show up in the "Device Name" column when you export sales reports from your Transactions tab. You can also filter sales by device by choosing Advanced Options.
Please note that, if a device name wasn't assigned, we aren't able to track payments by device that have already been completed.
Find more on this in our Support Center. Hope this helps going forward!

How do you name the devices on Apple products...i did it on my older devices, but cannot figure out to do this on my SE.
Hey @wgonzales — I got you. If you're using an Apple device, you can set the name within the device settings itself: Settings > About > Name. Once you've entered in a name there, it will show up in the Device Name column in your Transactions CSV going forward. Hope that helps!
Perfect. Thank you!

I have two devices associated with one account. How can I find out which payment belongs to which location?
@Makiabady You can track sales by device after you've set a name for each mobile device that you take payments with.
The steps to name your devices are here. When you've named your devices you'll begin to see the name in the Device Name column of the Transactions CSV file from your online Dashboard.
Let me know if you have additional questions!

I need to figure out where to add a device name on my phone.
Hey @dldnativeblend - here are the steps to name your phone. This thread also has information about sales reports by device but if you have any questions let me know!
I recently enabled tipping on my 2 square register systems at my shop but it pools the tips together. Is there any way to have them broken down by device? Thanks in advance!!
Heya @jaywpark,
There's not a way to split tips based on device at this time.
Could you give us more details as to why this would be helpful for your business? I'm happy to pass it along as a feature request for you.
Hi! Our shop currently has 2 square registers and the people that work the front usually stay on a specific device throughout the shift. So seeing the tip breakdown by device would help us appropriately pay out their tips instead of evenly splitting them.
I supposed you can generate a sales report by Device. But first, you'll need to name each one by way of a device code. I merged you to a thread for next steps @jaywpark
