Let me give you a bit of background information. This will be relevant later on.
In my main page I have some sections set to show: "Recently Viewed Items" and "Recently Bought Items" and would like to keep these functions.
I have been trying to work on getting my customers exclusive items, only available to the ones that have bought a membership. They way I'm thinking of doing this is by giving our customers access to an exclusive page, which can be done by adding a password to the page. This doesn't work very well since the password can be just shared around, so I was also thinking of adding a modifier to the items, where the person can enter their membership ID, I can check if it matches our records and sale completed. Also I want to mention that By changing the item from visible to Hidden, it means that only the person with the link can view it, since the link it's in the private page, only those people can see it. BUT!
HERE IS THE PROBLEM
Now If someone buys, and or views an item, suddenly it will appear in "Recently Viewed Items" and "Recently Bought Items". And anyone can just go click and see the exclusive items. I do not want that information to be seen, simply because there is no way to stop anyone from buying these items, I would have to cancel every order that has an invalid membership ID. This is just adding more work and I think it would upset people that don't know about the membership.
there is also many more things that dont work.
You can get weebly to get a membership item to be sold, but when sold, it does not create an account for the customer, I have to make that, there is no way of linking weebly to square. So if the same customer buys again, there is no way of telling if they bought the membership or not. Meaning giving perks like discounts on order is harder to do, because I have to keep track of that.
