How do I know I am still signed up? Haven't taken a payment in a long time and square isn't working

I don't know of any timeout after a period of inactivity.  But I would say as long as you can log in to the app you should be good to go.

I was going to take a payment this morning. I went to ap on iPhone and it took me to sign in and then to page said 'no sales'. I went to my apps and hit register icon of Square Program and it just spun around saying loading but nothing else happened. Went to dashboard after a while and it gave me information but no guidance as how to get it to take customers card. Put card through reader a dozen times. Very embarrassing.

You probably need to update your app if it's super old too.  I don't know what app you logged into first in your post that gave you the no sales.

 

all you should have to do is log in to the square register app and it will automatically download the items you had setup.  Dashboard is just for viewing sales data.

 

try login in on the computer

Thanks @VanKalkerFarms! @Suezeaa32, sounds like you may need to update the Square Register app. I'd also recommend turning your phone off and back on again, as sometimes that can help with troubleshooting. Your account does not time out or become inactive, so you should be good to go on that front. Let us know if there's any other help you need!
