How do I increase the gift card limit to 1000.00? Right now it only allows me to go up to 250.00

The maximum amount you can load onto a gift card is $2,000 dollars. It sounds like this customer might want to reach out to their bank and make sure their account is in good standing and doesn't have any transaction limits.
