I have just noticed that my business, Michael's Mobile Massage LLC, is not included in the new giveandgetlocal.com directory started by Square.com and would like to know what needs to be done to add it to zipcode 92211.
Thank you,
Michael Wolfes, Owner

Hi @mmm2hands,
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.
Currently, only businesses that have had a Square account and offer eGift Cards through Square have been automatically included in the Give and Get Local Directory.
If you have a Square account but have not started selling Square eGift Cards yet, visit the eGift Cards tab in your online Square Dashboard to set up your eGift Card order page and upload an eGift Card design. Once you set up your eGift Cards order page, toggle on Sell eGift Cards online and Show my eGift Cards in public directories. After you toggle these on, your business should appear in the Give and Get Local Directory automatically. Be sure to check your business name and location by visiting Account & Settings from your online Square Dashboard.
Feel free to check out this link for more information and please let me know if you have any other questions by replying to this thread.
Note: Square accounts created after March 1st, 2020, are currently not eligible to be included in Give and Get Local.
Why does my gift card not show up here https://giveandgetlocal.com/
I've typed in my zip code... nothing.
I've typed in my business name... nothing.
Why is my business not being listed?
Hey @PDXMOMMA-
Sorry to hear that!
Please take a look at @Alex_'s best answer in this thread for some further insight and instructions.
If you continue to have this issue, please contact us.
We set up our business several weeks ago to begin offering eGift Cards and chose the option to be included in the Give and Get Local directory; however, we are not showing up in the list. Am not sure what I am missing... any help is appreciated.
Hi there, @roncampbellart 👋 Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Seller Community! Good to hear from you.
I've gone ahead and re-merged your post into an existing thread of Sellers who were also curious about the Give & Get Local directory. Take a look at this Best Answer from Alex - it should walk you through some troubleshooting.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Hello Joe,
I completed the steps mentioned in Alex's post at the time I set up the eGift Cards for our store several weeks ago and verified it today but our card/design is not displaying. We have had a Square account for 2+ years but just went live with our Square Online Store a month ago or so. Would definitely like to be included in this directory. Thank you for your help...
Hi there, @roncampbellart - thanks for reaching out! And thanks for providing those details. I'm sorry that you are still experiencing trouble with displaying on Give & Get Local. Would you mind flagging this over to our Support Team? They can take a deeper dive with you to make sure this gets resolved.
Hi Alex,
Finally following up on my initial Subject question, I am writing you today to say "Thank you" for your detailed instructions on how to enable my E-gift card on giveandgetlocal.com. It only took me 2 months to get around to accomplishing it, but I have now done so. Of course, I didn't lose any time Sales-wise thanks to the Pandemic and it's now ready and waiting for customers to purchase.
Thanks again,
Michael
I'm having the same problem others mentioned about not being listed on giveandgetlocal.com. We have a Square account and have on line giftcard sales through Square. I followed all the instruction listed on @Alex post, but we are still not showing up on giveandgetlocal. How can this be updated?
Hi @VBB,
Thanks for posting. When did you create your Square Account?
[This reply was created from merging an existing thread]
Hello, we have been offering e-gifts cards from square for over a year. You launched the Give and Get Local Link and which shows all businesses selling Square e-gift cards. Another week has gone by and our business is still not listed on the site.
Our cards are active and working on our dashboard, but data is not transferring to Square Give and Get Local site.
Hi @maria,
I moved your message to this thread in order to bring all discussions regarding giveandgetlocal.com together.
We highly recommend getting in touch with our Customer Success Team. They can then escalate this to the appropriate party and file to get this looked at on the back end. Please reach them via email when you have a chance.
I am having the opposite problem - I have too many locations showing up in the directory. One is my brick and mortar that is also my online store, and that one is fine. The other one is a temporary location at a farmer's market, that I have set up as a location because it's in a different county with different sales tax (ah the joy of being in NY state, lol). When you click on the link in the directory, it goes to a 404 page; I recognize the link it's pointing to, it's my old (pre-Weebly) website. You can see the link in the bottom corner of the browser window.
What's the best way to take care of this?
Thanks!
Heather
HI @MvilleSoapworks-
Just trying to clarify- you have two different locations showing up on the Give and Get Local egift card site?
@nika , that is correct, but only on the map version. (Didn't realize there are two versions until I looked it up.) I tried to attach a screen capture but it doesn't appear to be showing up. I am in zip code 14120 so you can probably look it up that way. ^_^ The correct one for Martinsville Soapworks shows up fine on both the map version and the gift card directory; on the map version, though, my temp market location shows up. If you're confused, so am I right now, lol!
Crazy! @MvilleSoapworks Would you mind reaching out to our CS team about this when you have a chance? They should be able to help make a few adjustments and get this sorted out!
