Sorry to hear that! If you're getting a "Reader Damaged" message, as opposed to other connection errors, that means there may be internal damage to the Reader itself. If that is the case, you can warranty the Reader for a free replacement.
In the meantime, I'd suggest checking in with our Support team for confirmation as well.
