Let's say my salon closes at 6PM... I want to allow clients to book an eyebrow wax with a $15 no-show fee, and because it's a quick 15-min service, allow them to schedule it at anytime of the day.
Now, a haircut/highlight is a big ordeal and takes 2-4 hours, so I want to charge a $50 no-show fee but also prevent them from booking appointments after 3PM and I want 24 hours notice.
How do I do this?
Okay so this is a tough one. I also use Square Appointments (and love it) but some of the features you’re asking about aren’t yet available. They would be awesome if they were. So we might have to trick the system a little.
Make sure you set up your cancellation policy and require client’s to either pay a deposit or place a card to hold their spot. You can set the percentage to whichever percent will give you the amount your looking for. For example, my late cancellations are 50%. So if a client books a service for $40 and late cancels...the system will charge their card $20.
When you set up your service...perhaps you can add in the title that this service can not be booked after 3PM. You can also set it up where you have to approve each appointment booked other than it automatically going through.
