How do I checkout using an item I have created and saved?

I have created and saved " items". Now how do i checkout with them ? The only way i see to checkout is by using the keypad to just enter a dollar amount. I want to be able to click on an item and checkout

The keyboard would pop up if you haven't entered a set price.

In your item editor on the dashboard, make sure you have a price filled out in the Price and Inventory section. If you have one product with multiple price points (small, medium, large for example) click the Add Variations line to do so.

On the bottom of the Square POS screen, there are a couple of tabs, one is for the keypad entry the other is for picking items from your library.
