Hi,
I'm selling notecards and original art. For my cards I want to track inventory, but for my paintings I want only one to be available.
If I put 1 in the inventory tracker it posts a message 'only a few left' which confuses buyers. Should I not use the tracker at all? I'm afraid if I don't it will show that the painting is still available after a sale.
Basically I just want to show 1 available and when that sells I want it to say sold out.
Thanks for any help!
Kathy
The tracker has 3 notification options for customers; on sale, only a few left, and sold out. These item statuses can each individually be turned on and off by going to your Online Store Dashboard under Settings > General and editing the item settings. In your case, I would suggest turning off the 'Only a few left' status. These statuses cannot currently be customized to say '1 left/available' or 'unique'; you could put that in the items description though.
