Simple - Click and hold on the grid like you would when you add an item. Now you will see all the + signs on the grid. Now click and hold on the tab you want to rename. A dialog box will appear for you to type in the name. Enter the name click done, then click done editing.
There you go. I have to admit I didn't know you could do that so I just figured it out my self.
