I live in NC and am selling art kits online. We have 4 different sales tax rates and I have to pay sales tax based on the destination NOT origination. So I either need some sort of table so folks can enter their county and the correct rate is charged or I need for them to be able to toggle or input the correct amount of sales tax for their county. Is there a way to do this with square?
Hi @kcoltrane , my business uses the automatic calculation offered by Square.
Under Shared Settings -> Sales Tax. You can then click edit and then check the "automatically calculate rates" box.
Here in NY, we have the same issue, and I pay sales tax to a dozen counties every quarter.

Sorry, I'm new to all of this; I can't find "shared settings" anywhere... can you help point me in the right direction?
Hi @loribradeen Your dashboard may be slightly different. First navigate to the Square Online dashboard, then click Settings > Sales Taxes
More info, including how to setup Itemized Taxes, found here.
