I have the basic Square pos account with two registers in the same store. Square combines all transactions and that doesn’t work for me when I need to troubleshoot closing cash disparities!

One of the ways you can view those separately is through a report in your Dashboard.
Go to Reports and change the "Display By" to devices, you will see a breakdown of the Square Registers for each account.
Anything more elaborate than that would be a Feature Request for our Product Team.
