How can I get the URL for an item on my Online Store?

Can anyone help with this?Some of my customers are getting confused by the lack of an item description that first appears when they click on an item. I know it seems simple to click "view more" but some don't get it. Does anyone know if there's a way to show the description in full when the item is opened so that they don't have to click on the "view more" link? Or is this just something in the Square online store template? Thanks!

Hello @amerhauntink! 

This is a great question in regards to the Online Store. If your Item description is greater than 180 characters, the store will shorten the description and add the "View more" link. So if you would like to eliminate that link you'll have to condense your item description.

How do I get the actual URL for an item? I am trying to direct people from a post directly to an item, not just to my online store. Is there a way I can get an item URL?

Welcome to our Seller Community! 

There are two ways you can create links to direct your buyers to purchase a specific Item. Copy and paste the URL address of your item page by heading over to the Item in your Online Store. This address can be pasted directly on any marketing campaigns or social media posts. The link will direct your buyers to the websites and the Item, all they will need to do is add the Item to their cart. You can also provide checkout links from your Square Dashboard. Take a look at how you can do that here.
