Is there something I'm missing that lets me create items in my regular dashboard inventory and then lets them show up for use in the store? I regularly try to create a new event in the main dashboard, type in the info, pricing, tiers, etc. But when I try to add it to my "event registration" section, it never seems to show up. The only way I can get those items to show is by creating them through the Store editor.
Am I missing something? Should I be able to start an "event" type outside of the store editor?
Currently the Online Store editor is the only way to put items and events into your online environment.
You can still build your item in the Items section of your dashboard (which definitely runs faster than the editor) though. Once you open the editor, click on the Add/Import Items Plus sign at the bottom of one of the sections, choose Import from Library, then type in the item you created. Choose your fulfillment type and you should be good to go.
If you get an error that "Each item you sell online must have at least one fulfillment type" and it won't let you proceed, look through your item list. If there is one with a "Not Visible Onlie" banner across the image chances are the fulfillment type got programatically turned off. Either remove the Not Visible item from the store (which doesn't remove it from your item library) or reset the fulfillment type.
