Hiring someone to create my online store

I am considering hiring someone to create an online store for me, but I am concerned about giving someone access to do so.  Can I create an authorized representative that only has access to the Online Store creation?

Thanks, but I have already looked through this.  There does not seem to be a way to set permissions to only access the online store without giving them access to checkout and the cash drawer.  This seems risky to me if I want to hire someone outside the company to create the website.  Has anyone figured this one out?
