Hidden Square Online Categories...Not Hiding

I just came across the ability to hide site categories. However, hidden categories still appear in the shop's category links on my site. Why? This should be an instantaneous toggle thing.

Several categories were hidden




I have already cleared my browser cache for my site, so please don't suggest that.
