Free Gift Card Loading

I am selling a Valentine's gift pack, which includes a $5 gift card. How do I go about pre-loading the gift cards without having to charge? Hopefully that makes sense. Or is there a way to scan the package sku and a prompt for the gift card comes up so I can scan the card to have it load with the $5?
