When I import a custom list of customers from my Square Database, (e.g. targeting customers that opened an email), it creates hundreds of duplicate profiles. Is there a way to avoid this?
Eek, that shouldn't be happening. Not sure why the import is duplicating customers. Nonetheless, Square's system will recognize if a duplicate customer lives in your directory if they share the same email address or phone number,
Click Duplicate Suggestion at the top of the Customer tab through Dashboard. Then click Merge or Merge All to combine confirmed duplicates.
