How do I move a customer's appointment within the calendar? If I grab the appointment I can move it up and down the column but I can't move it to a new column. I would like to grab the appointment and move it to another employee instead of opening the appointment and typing the change. I thought this was possible before.
Hey there @Richlow!
You're spot on about being able to move the appointments up and down on the calendar. Having the ability to drag and drop them from one employee to another, however, is a feature request. If you want to change the employee, you'll have to click into the appointment from the calendar and edit the provider/employee.
We've heard others talk about having the ability to drag and drop appointments before, so I'll make sure to flag this to our Product team for potential future development!
I am trying to do this also but when i go to the appointment it will not let me click the employee to change it (It is greyed out)
Hello @Prettyparlorak
It's not currently possible to change an appointment from one provider to another by dragging it, it is a feature request.
We will share your feedback with out product team, so they can consider adding this feature in the future.
Thank you!
it would be nice if this feature would come out soon!
also why can't i change the provider/employee?
thanks

Hey, @NEVERTEDIOUS - We'd be more than happy to continue assisting you. Thanks for your feedback, we will make sure to pass this on to the correct team. When it comes to your employee settings, What exactly are you trying to do with your employee settings? Can you please elaborate so we can provide further details.
Thank you.
I agree it would be helpful to be able to drag an appointment to another staff member instead of having to cancel and recreate the appointment
Thank you for adding your vote to this feature request @madusalon! We'll be sure to tag you here when we receive any updates from the Square Appointments team.
