Doing a "cash pay out" on square stand?

We will have certain vendors (bike mesangers, casual labor, some suppliers) who need to be paid COD. NOT A PROBLEM WITH CASH ON HAND, but is there a way to track it on the square stand app? Since its money out of the drawer and needs to be accounted for

Yep! You can track all of the cash that is added and taken out of the cash drawer, even outside of a sale. Within your cash drawer management, you can use the Paid In/ Paid Out option. To do so sign into the app and follow these steps:

# Tap the three horizontal lines on the navigation bar > Reports.
# Tap Reports > Current Drawer.
# Select Paid In/ Out and enter a dollar amount and description. 
# Confirm Paid In or Paid Out and tap the back arrow to return to your session.

At the end of a day, you can view all of the cash drawer activity right from your Dashboard.

Does this function open the cash drawer automatically?

And is there a quicker way to do a "cash pay out from the cash drawer". I ask because we frequently do cash pay outs (cash for recycling government program).

If those features don't exist, how do we put in a feature request for those two things?

Cash payout should control your drawer when you are using it, and open the drawer for you.

Record Cash Paid In and Paid Out

With the Paid In/Out feature, you can record deposits and withdrawals from your cash drawer. Cash paid in and out appears in the drawer history on the iPad, with both the description you enter and the total amount in the drawer.

To record cash paid in and out:

1. From your in-app menu, tap Reports > Current Drawer.
2. Tap Paid In/Out.
3. Enter the cash amount and a description.
4. Tap Paid In if you add cash, or Paid Out if you remove cash from the drawer.
5. Tap Confirm Paid In or Confirm Paid Out.
