I’m new to using square with an employee. Does my employee sign on his own mobile device with my username and password or does he generate his own after I have added him as a team member in square and outlined the permissions? I know an email is sent..just trying to figure out how this works.
Hey! Thanks for posting. If you set up your employee to have Mobile Point of Staff Permissions, then he will have his own email and password to sign in. If you give him your email and password (this is strongly discouraged) then he will have full owner permissions and be able to make changes to your account as a result.
When you created him as a team member, there was an area for you to enter his email. That will be his log in email, and the email that will be sent to him (assuming you enabled Mobile Staff permissions), will be "DrMac has invited you to work for him" or something along those lines where he will then create his password.
