When I signed up for Square Payroll, I was eventually required to obtain a Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) number. I also had to input the VEC tax rate and the pay schedule. All this information led me to believe Square would pay my quarterly VEC taxes but I need to know definitively as I don't want to overpay or pay late.
