Does Ecwid avoid any transaction fees with square?

I read that Ecwid has no transaction fees but am connecting square which does. Is there a way to avoid the square fee with Ecwid?

if you connect your ecwid account to your square account you will pay the Square fees for credit card processing since Square is the one handling the credit card transaction.
