Do I need both square scanners, one to input inventory and one for sales?

I want to know which scanner to use to input inventory into square POS.  And if I need two separate scanners? One for input and one for sales??? I haven't worked with scanners at all and need some guidance please. And which square scanner does what.

Thank you for posting in the Seller Community. Welcome.

To give a bit more insight on this, you do not need a scanner to input inventory into your system. You can manually create and enter items into your inventory by typing in the product details.
