Discounts based on cost, not retail?

I want to offer employees a discount based on cost (cost + 10%) Is this possible with Square?

Thanks for your question, and welcome to the Community.

You can create a Discount for your employees to have a percent off!

From your Online Square Dashboard

1. Visit Items > Discounts in your online Square Dashboard.
2. Click Create New Discount. (choose Percentage and set at 10)
3. Enter the discount details > Save.

I'd suggest using a passcode on these so they cannot be applied to any sale.

When you are checking out your Employee, you will then enter the price or the item you are looking to check out, and from the Item Library you'll click on the Employee Discount. Which will take off the proportionate amount from the sale.

YOU DID NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION ASKED. I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO ADD A DISCOUNTED PRICE THAT IS 10% ABOVE COST, NOT A % OFF THE RETAIL PRICE. IS THERE A WAY TO DO THAT?

Hey @HIMALAYA - there's currently no way to add a discount that way. The best workaround is to create a dollar discount and leave it variable, that way at check out you can enter the discount amount at the time of sale 

Not ideal but it's worth a shot. Are there any other Sellers that want to chime in?
