Im currently trying Square KDS and after activation, all my Square Registers are asking for ‘Name or Ticket Number’. I just want certain register to do this, not all.
Open Tickets Add-on is disabled and the Order Tickets under Checkout does not have a way to turn it off. It just shows Auto-assign ticket numbers and Enter custom number or name.

Change the order tickets to Auto Assign ticket numbers and you won't be prompted to enter a name anymore. You'll still see a ticket number on the KDS but it'll be automatically generated.
