Desperately need more basic formatting options for your Page Sections.

This interface is deeply lacking in formatting options. And it doesn't allow for custom CSS. It's like trying to design a website in MS Word.

Please, either give us the ability to override your css (at our own risk is just fine), or add more consistent formatting options.

Currently, text widgets are all over the place. On most, you can't even center-align things! Your engineers need to fill in all the standard text formatting options users expect these days, then replicate them through all the widgets. I'm pulling my hair out over here with how few options there are, and now inconsistently they are implemented across the site editor.

I get how busy things are right now. I really do. But you already have the functions written and working on other text widgets. Please consider consolidating the functionality and rolling it out on all of them, not just some on some of them. It's torture.

For example, take the Image & Text section. Try using a circle image. Then add a title and some body text. Now add a button. Notice how terrible it looks thrown way off to the left? All that stuff needs an option to center it under the image—desperately. On desktop it's bad enough. But on mobile, which almost everyone is using now to place curbside food or retail orders, it's simply horrible. And it's so easily fixable with some very basic code and formatting.

Squarespace, Wix, all the other WYSIWYG eCommerce editors have vastly superior formatting options. Square/Weebly needs to step things up in a big way in this department. Sadly, this UI is WAY behind the times. Just being honest. I know it takes time and resources, and a lot has already been done to improve things since the acquisition of Weebly. But keep adding UI improvements too, not just ordering placing functionality improvements. They go hand-in-hand.

I've got pile of other ideas for quick UI wins if your team wants to hear them. For now I'll leave it at this. 🙂
