Daily Cash Sales is not transferring correctly from Square to QB Online

Daily Cash Sales is not transferring correctly from Square to QB Online so can't match the deposit with the App Transaction if they are not the exact amount. The credit card total is balancing correctly so can match that summary.

Although Square integrates with Quickbooks, the integration is operated and managed by Quickbooks. For help with QuickBooks Online-specific questions, you’ll need to either visit the Sync With Square article or log in to your Quickbooks Online account and select the Help button in the top right corner of the screen. This will provide you with the best options to connect with an expert. You can also read about frequently asked questions with the QuickBooks Online and Square integration.

 

If you’ve already got in contact with them, and they referred you to us, please provide the ticket number provided to you by Quickbooks and the reason they sent you to us. Then, we’ll be able to follow up with Quickbooks regarding your issue.

The Square to QB online app by square is horrible. For me it worked for about 5 days before it went off the rails. Took me a while to get rid of all the data that got imported incorrectly/not at all. Not exactly sure what the issue is with it, but using the square one is a ticking time bomb.

 

I ended up using one of the third party apps to sync to quickbooks, which has worked flawlessly.
